How to Get Your Team’s Feedback on Your Management Style and Act on It

How's your week been? I hope it's been kind!

Mine has been full of workshops and management coaching, and today I'm off to psychotherapy training. So, very rich and nourishing, working with wonderful people.

This week, I've got a follow-up to last week's newsletter. Yep, we're still talking about what we can learn from Lady Gaga and, shall we say, her somewhat... 'unique' style of leadership. However, this time we're looking at it from the point of view of the boss.

So, how do you find out what your team think about your management style, and if you're maybe asking for too much from them?

As leaders, it can be tough to see when we’re pushing our teams too hard or stepping over boundaries.

Sometimes, we can be so driven to meet our goals that the line between reasonable expectations and overstepping can get super blurry. So, what can you do? Because it can be REALLY uncomfortable to ask!

And, I get it... but even though it can be a bit ouchy, it is much better to find out rather than stick your head in the sand and end up with a super demotivated team!
