SDI Profiling

Understand yourself. Understand each other. Work better together.

Every team is made up of people with different motivations, strengths, communication styles and responses when things get difficult.

Those differences can make a team brilliant. They can also lead to misunderstandings, frustration and conflict when people don't understand what's driving each other.

SDI gives people a practical shared language for understanding those differences and using them to work better together.

Who it's for

Teams that want to understand each other better and strengthen how they communicate, collaborate and work together.

SDI can also be used with individual managers to deepen self-awareness, or built into one of our manager development programmes.

How it works

Everyone completes their own SDI profile to understand what motivates them, the strengths they bring and how they respond when things get difficult.

We then bring the profiles to life in a facilitated team session, helping people understand their own results and, importantly, the different motivations and strengths across the team.

Together, we explore where those differences help the team, where they can create friction and what people can do differently to get the best from each other.

For teams wanting to go further, SDI can also form the starting point for wider team development, using the insight to shape additional work around communication, collaboration and ways of working.

The outcome

A team that understands what drives each other and makes better use of its different strengths.

A shared language that makes communication and differences easier to navigate.

Stronger working relationships, particularly when things get difficult.
